A Sleazy story by my prof (transmitted via sms)

...there was a young woman who played music all day and flirted shamelessly. She like to play music and surprise her listeners. ANd one evening she was feeling very naughty, and wanted to surprise a man she was flirting with.

So, she texted him from her bed and tell him naughty stories to arouse him.

First, she told him she was feeling warm and wanted to take off her clothing under the covers. He agreed that that would help. So she texts the man that she's removed her clothes and covers and asks if he likes thinking of her this way.

He replied that he likes the image he has of her. He wanted to know if her skin is soft and warm. She replies that she thinks so, and asks if he wants her to touch herself to let him know for sure.

He definitely likes the idea, and imagines her running her hands over her naked body.

She begins to rub some lotion on her skin, starting with her legs and working her way up. She enjoys the feeling and continues, rubbing and carressing her soft skin. She delicately passes over her pubic area and begins applying the lotion to her stomach and ribs.

To compose or decompose?

I have recently decided to challenge myself to writing music, further more than the mere 8 bars I can manage so far for the grade 5 exam. I need to improve my modulations and the use of suspensions. The weakness in these two exclusively has already hindered my 4-part harmony. I keep getting stuck and end up having to redo the whole piece. It is sometimes discouraging that it doesn't seem to be "getting there".

Composing was suppose to be fun, to me it's like fixing a jigsaw of sounds together and a full picture of sounds can spark off another person's imagination and give rise to imagery correspondence.

When will I get it? Can I just plant a seed, water and wait? Is that all I can do?

First Lesson with my Harmony/composing teacher

My new teacher said "If you feel like doing something, you've got to start doing it, even if you don't get what you want in the end you'd have got (learnt) some other things along the way"
