Wireless is down

This is so ironical, I brought my laptop to work on stuffs on the net but now the wireless connection is down. I can’t do much other than type on a word processor and trying to look pro as a working adult. Maybe I should be more fruitful and try to do something that might be useful, but what?

Let me now work out my weekly income:
Naomi 1.5 x $35 = $52.50
Wan Lin 2 x $35 = $70.00
Lailatul 1 x $25 = $25.00
Ado 2 x $25 = $50.00
Eason 3 x $21 = $63.00

Total $260.50
Monthly 4 x $260.50 =$1042.00

Not bad, not as bad as I thought, even if I lose my job any moment I still have some spinning funds to fall back onto, although it sure does not feel comfortable living on such randomness. I really cannot imagine what will happen to me in years to come. Even Stan who has a proper teaching qualification has somewhat kicked himself out of the stability of a school job. I wonder what made him do that. Perhaps it is really a blessing in disguise (as they say it) for me to stay out.

Dad was right, running classes at home and sticking to the rules that bound them is a really safe way to earn decently. The two who comes to my place now generates nearly $100 for me each week. Imagine if I manage to get a group or two to start, keeping to the restriction by HDB that a group must be 3 students or less, I can still get $200 in a 2-hour slot, that makes $400 for two groups and $1600 in a month! Fabulous! Plus, having people coming periodically really helps the family keep the house spick and span, or at least cooperates while I clean up the mess. Yes, t is tiring to do housework but there are ways to cheat about it and at the same time maintain a clean-enough house. Plus cleaning is a great workout, killing two birds with one stone.

I don’t know what happened, it seems like all classes do not have wireless internet access after my first class, so I can surf the net while babysitting. The weather is now rainy, I had wished to go on a trip either to IKEA or the library but now it is too lethargic to do that in the cold weather. Oh well. Today is Alan’s birthday, I really hope that I will be able to completely forget his existence on this earth. Sigh. When one door closes, another opens somewhere else.
